You know those people you meet who carry such a charismatic vibe about them and straight off the bat they're infectious to be around? You know, the Martin Luther Kings, Jack Blacks, Russel Brands, Whoopi Goldbergs, Leonardos, Anthony Hopkins and Ellen DeGenerises of this world? Celebrities aside, It's those kind of people you meet in day-to-day life who are funny, charming and likable who we often think to some degree "I wish I was like that." It may not be a completely conscious feeling of jealousy, but something small inside you desires after the qualities that make those rare people stand out in a crowd and be heard when they speak. Regardless of their looks, what they wear or how they spend their time, these people are just innately fantastic, confident and delightful to be around. They influence. I've so often envied these people, knowing I could never feign the qualities that it takes to be like that.
But I had a funny thought lately after coming across a few of these types of people. Instead of feeling that desire to be them, I felt a desire to know them. It takes all kind of characters to make up the world and naturally charismatic, hilarious, caring, warm, quirky, laid back people aren't existent for us to become a prototype of, but are there to make our lives more rich by knowing them.
